MagicAuth provides passwordless authentication services through magic link email verification. The Service includes:

• API endpoints for sending and verifying magic links
• Email delivery of authentication tokens
• Analytics dashboard for tracking authentication events
• rCAPTCHA bot protection with credit earnings for publishers
• Webhook notifications for authentication events

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your API keys
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Free Tier and Monetization

MagicAuth offers a free tier with unlimited magic link authentications. The free tier includes:

• Sponsored content in emails sent to your users
• In-page advertisements during the authentication flow
• Integrated rCAPTCHA bot protection that earns you credits
• Monthly credit conversions to cash based on verification activity

By using the free tier, you acknowledge that users authenticating through your application will see sponsored content and complete rCAPTCHA verifications. Credits earned are subject to our minimum payout threshold and payment terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send spam or unsolicited emails
• Circumvent rate limiting or security measures
• Engage in fraudulent activity or abuse the credit system
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

6. API Usage and Rate Limits

The Service implements rate limiting to ensure fair usage. Free tier accounts are subject to:

• Rate limits on API requests (specific limits provided in dashboard)
• Domain whitelisting requirements for production use
• Automatic token expiration (default: 15 minutes)

Excessive use that impacts Service performance may result in temporary suspension or account termination.

7. Data and Privacy

We collect and process email addresses for authentication purposes only. By using the Service, you agree that:

• Email addresses are stored temporarily for verification
• Analytics data (clicks, verifications, timestamps) is collected
• You have obtained necessary consent from your users
• You comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

8. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, the Service is provided "AS IS" without guarantees of availability. We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features with notice
• Perform maintenance that may cause temporary downtime
• Update these Terms with 30 days notice

9. Payment and Credits

Credits earned through rCAPTCHA verifications are subject to:

• Minimum payout threshold of $10.00 USD
• Monthly payout processing on the 1st of each month
• PayPal, Venmo, or cryptocurrency payment options
• Fraud detection and verification before payout

We reserve the right to withhold or cancel payouts suspected of fraudulent activity.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or abusive activity
• Extended periods of inactivity

Upon termination, earned credits below the minimum threshold will be forfeited.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAGICAUTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MagicAuth from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective 30 days after posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
